Kira shifted the weight of her suitcase as she knocked on the shabby but familiar door. The years had passed like water under the bridge, but one thing remained constant: the bottle blonde who swung the door open, her eyes widening at the sight of Kira. "Kira! Long time no see, girl!" yelled Bella, pulling her into a bone-crushing hug.

The two had been inseparable in their wild college days, but life's currents had taken them in different directions. Kira, now a successful graphic designer, hadn't expected to find herself back in their old haunt, let alone in Bella's arms. Yet here she was, the past and present colliding in a whirlwind of nostalgia and unresolved tension.

They caught up over old stories and newer wines, the laughter echoing through Bella's cluttered apartment. Kira noticed that Bella, now a bartender, still had the same wild spark in her eyes, the same insatiable hunger for life. And as she watched Bella's hands dance around the kitchen, pouring them another glass, she felt a familiar stirring in her gut.

Bella, as if sensing her thoughts, raised an eyebrow. "You look different, Kira. Grown up, but... still reckless."

Kira smirked, taking a sip of her wine. "And you're still the same handful, I see."

Bella leaned in, her voice dropping to a purr. "I've still got all the same habits, too. Got a favorite vice you remember, Kira?"

Kira's heart pounded in her chest. They were treading on dangerous ground, but the thrill was undeniable. "I've got a few," she answered, holding Bella's gaze.

Bella's smile was slow and mischievous. "I've got just the thing, then." She disappeared into her bedroom, returning with a familiar green pouch. "I've been wanting to try this new strain. Feel like taking a trip down memory lane?"

Kira's breath hitched as Bella casually rolled a joint, her fingers deft and practiced. They'd shared many a smoke in their time, but this felt different. More charged, more intense. She watched as Bella licked the paper, her tongue lingering for a moment too long.

"To old friends and new beginnings," Bella said, holding up the joint. Kira clinked her wine glass against it, and they both took a long drag.

The smoke filled Kira's lungs, a sweet, familiar burn. She felt the tension in her shoulders ease, the world slowing down as the high took hold. Bella's eyes were heavy-lidded, her smile soft and inviting. "Better than I remember," she whispered.

Kira leaned in, her hand cupping Bella's cheek. "You taste even better," she murmured, pressing her lips to Bella's. The years melted away, the estrangement forgotten as they explored each other's mouths, their bodies pressing together like puzzle pieces.

Bella sighed into the kiss, her hands tangling in Kira's hair. "We've got some lost time to make up for," she rasped, her breath hot on Kira's ear.

Kira nodded, her heart pounding. "Let's start now."

Their clothes hit the floor in a flurry, and they tumbled into bed, their bodies fitting together like they'd never been apart. Kira traced the familiar lines of Bella's body, her fingers lingering on the curve of her hip, the swell of her breast. Bella gasped as Kira's touch moved lower, her fingers slipping inside her.

"Fuck, Kira," Bella groaned, her hips grinding against Kira's hand. "Still so good at that."

Kira chuckled, her breath hot on Bella's neck. "I've had practice." She moved lower, her tongue replacing her fingers, tasting Bella's sweet nectar.

Bella's moans filled the room, her fingers tangling in Kira's hair, guiding her, urging her on. Kira obliged, her tongue and fingers working in tandem, driving Bella higher and higher. She felt Bella's body tense, her breath catch, and then she was coming, pulsing against Kira's mouth, her cries echoing in the small room.

Kira moved back up, her body fitting against Bella's. She stretched, reaching for the remains of the joint on the nightstand. She took a long drag, the smoke filling her lungs, and passed it to Bella.

Bella took a drag, her eyes holding Kira's. "To old friends," she said, her voice husky.

"To old friends," Kira agreed, her heart full, her body satisfied. She settled against Bella, her mind drifting as the high took her under. She didn't know what the next day would bring, but she knew she was exactly where she was meant to be. With her old friend, and her newfound lover.
